Colorado River-Canoeing in Desert!-Winter Seminar
March 3 @ 7pm - RA Centre – Courtside A
On this 20 day, self-guided expedition, several RACCC members formed part of a flotilla of rafts, kayaks and canoes. 16 people worked together to tackle wicked waves during a high flow dam release that resulted in raft-stopping boils and whirlpools. The group traveled over 360 kms through some of the most scenic and oldest geologic formations from lava flows to exposed Vishnu schist (2 billion years old!). The trip also featured windy sandstorms, gastro-plague, hypothermia, prickly plants, a naked unicorn, pools of arsenic.... and a romantic engagement! Join us for the slideshow to learn more...
The presentation is free but donations to the RACCC will be collected at the door.

This year we will be meeting at Gracefield Christian Camp and Retreat Centre.
