Public Access Project, OTTAWA RIVER

From the Ottawa River Runners:

As many of you may have heard, Whitewater Ontario (WO) has begun a project with the goal of securing access to a public take out below the Rocher Fendu (whitewater) section of the Ottawa River. But, in order to do this, they need our help!

Here's what you can do:

Share your story! WO is collecting testimonials about your experience with the Ottawa River. They can be submitted on the website linked above, and can be submitted anonymously if desired.

Follow Ottawa River Access on Facebook and Instagram and like and share their posts- help spread the word!

Join WO if you are not already a member. Individuals with an active ORR membership are already members of WO.

Please take a few minutes today to complete any (or all) of these steps- the more people on board with this project and the greater community support- the more feasible a public take out will be.

As Whitewater Ontario said "Public access IS possible, but we need YOUR HELP."
