Whitewater Introduction Solo July 5-7, 2019
Intended for individuals with little to no moving water / whitewater solo canoe experience. This course aims to introduce paddlers to the basic solo skills required to navigate through whitewater rapids. Emphasis will be placed on solo canoe skills using the 2x4 method as well as understanding whitewater principles and river safety. Successful participants will receive Paddle Canada Introduction to Moving Water Solo certification
Location: RA Centre and Palmers Rapids (about 2.5 hrs drive from the RACCC Boat House)

Cost: Member: $180 Non Member: $240
New RACCC members will get a $25 discount for 1 (one) course fee if they register for a training course costing $130 or more at the same time as joining the Canoe Club.
Costs beyond the course fee include: carpooling, camping fees, food costs
