Tandem Thursdays:  Skills Coaching 2024 

tandem sculling draws smallThis skills coaching session is for paddlers of any skill level (beginner to advanced) to learn new skills and/or to refine existing skills. Instruction is based on participant's skills and interest. The instructor for this course has an extensive skill set and knowledge bank to draw from.

Prerequisites:  RACCC Members age 16 and older
Participants must be comfortable swimming in deep water while wearing a PFD.
NOTE:  The instructor for this course requires participants to be vaccinated against covid.

Dates/Times:  
Thursdays: June 6, 13, 9:30 - 2:30 PM 
Raindate NOTE: In case of cancellation due to inclement weather:  Rain dates are June 20,27

Location:  TBD - Ottawa area

Agenda
:
9:15 AM Meet at the RACCC Boathouse to organize canoes/gear,
9:30 travel to the Put in (locationTBD)
9:45 - 2:30 Canoeing Instruction (includes Lunch and Bio Breaks) and
2:30 PM Return to the RACCC Boathouse to return canoes/gear

Registration 
Registration deadline:  1 week prior to the training start date        
Cost: RACCC Members:  TBD + HST (includes equipment rental)     Non-Members -  this course is not available to non-members
Thursday June 1 and 8: PLAY RA CODE: TBD        Maximum : 8   Minimum 4
