Paddle for Benny 2022 is going to be held at Paddler Co-op on October 1st. Join for a paddle down the Lower Mad, a BBQ, raffle, live music by the Valley Cats and a bonfire, all in support of mental health wellness programs!

All donations will go to the ROBBIE DEAN FAMILY COUNSELLING CENTRE, a much needed organization in Renfrew County that supports the mental well-being of residents at no charge. To learn more about the services they offer please visit their website at www.robbiedeancentre.

BACKGROUND:
Paddle for Benny is in honour of Leah Kindree’s son Ben, who sadly died by suicide in October 2020 after living with mental illness for more than 20 years. The purpose of this event is to raise awareness of the pressing need for mental health support, and to raise funds to help the many individuals, who like Ben, need our support.
