Paddling Home - A family adventure across Canada

Meet adventurers and film-makers working on a documentary of their epic family canoe trip between Edmonton, Alberta to Montreal, Quebec last summer (see route here )...travelling ~4200km by canoe in 147 days and paddling on 13 different rivers, over 60 lakes (some of which seemed more like oceans) and more than 75 portages. Family members are Benoit (aka dad) who has an extensive background in canoeing and forest biology, Magali (aka mom) retired climbing instructor who now works in an outdoor retail store and Mali (aka the captain) their 5 year old son who is always keen on adventures.


Presentation at the Ottawa Outdoors show (March 20) or stay tuned for follow up presentation at the Gatineau Library in May.
