The New Open Canoe Slalom Group
This is an informal group of whitewater open canoeists interested in improving their whitewater skills through precision paddling and slalom racing. Individuals should be self motivated and prepared to practice on their own as there is no instruction. Emphasis is on self direct learning and practice. Individuals should bring their own set of training buoys (float/string/weight/clothes pin) for flat water practice.

The Wabakimi Project
For those of you who were not able to join us for the last Winter Seminar on April 9th, but are still wondering what amazing trip you can do this summer, have a look at “Uncle” Phil Cotton’s website The Wabakimi Project.
Did you know that Wabakimi is the second biggest provincial park in Ontario and it is a true wilderness park. There are no roads and no designated campsites.
